Just made it home from a full month away! I posted about the first leg of my trip to New York a couple of weeks ago before hopping on a plane to Europe for the next three weeks. We stopped in London, Milan and then Paris, and all were great experiences. Outfits and highlights below!
Our first stop in Europe was in London: such a cool city with a lot going on. The shopping in London was awesome because there were stores everyyywhere and each one was huge. I made sure to stop at Big Ben for the classic London photo, and ate at lots of casual outdoor cafes. It was chilly, but so much warmer than New York, so London the weather felt great!
Milan was cool because the entire town was surrounded by this ancient historical cathedral, The Duomo. We went there pretty much every day to explore the food and shops and feed the crowds of local birds. It was pretty cool to be surrounded by a whole flock of birds at once while I held out the food, and none of them dropped anything on me (if you know what I mean), so it was a win. Italy also had amazing thin crust pizza and gelato was a must every day.
I think Paris was probably my favorite city of the three. It was my first time to Paris, and all of the French people were so kind and helpful. Many of them speak English, which made navigating such a large city much easier too. Highlights were probably the Eiffel Tower and all of the other touristy sites around town. Everything was very photographable.
Now, I'm back in LA and looking forward to getting back into my daily routines. Plus, I got to come home to my sister's newborn daughter, Penelope!
